Director Message
Ivy Stinson-Pigg
Hello my name is Ivy Stinson-Pigg and I am thrilled to be the Site Director at Achievers of Stockton. I am proud to say I’ve joined the Achievers team with 20 years of experience in the early childhood education field. My love for teaching young children started many years ago while studying Early Childhood at De Anza College in Cupertino, Ca. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. While being a teacher I learned and believe all children deserve an empowering childhood, which ignited my passion to further my education and become a director.
I enjoy being able to meet so many different families and children from various backgrounds. I take pride in being able to assist and mentor teachers so that they can provide exceptional care for every child.
I believe in learning through play and using everyday experiences as opportunities to teach and help each child progress to the next developmental stage. Every child learns differently, and those differences should be celebrated. I strive to provide a rich, individual experience for every family served at our center. My goal is to make sure your child is safe, nurtured, and provided a fun educational environment to learn and grow in here at Achievers.
During my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. We love to laugh, cook and listen to great music together. Football season is my favorite time of year, and traveling has always been a favorite of mine.
